Dancers of all colors, genders, and ages are encouraged to audition.

 

Available Positions:
1. WH&D Company Dancer, contract includes: free Company Classes, Touring, Rehearsal pay ($17/hour), Performance pay ($150 per performance), and Teaching opportunities. We are seeking the following dancers: two male presenting and one female presenting. Company Dancer Contracts start officially in August 2026 but, qualified dancers can start in March, if available.
 

Qualified candidates will:
*possess a strong technical background in modern/contemporary and ballet
*have performing experience
*be available for rehearsals on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00am to 1:30pm and occasional Fridays from 10am to 1pm

2. The 3rd Coast Contemporary Dance Program is a partnership between WH&D and CMC that offers affordable training and professional performance opportunities to dancers ages 17 to 26.
Classes and rehearsals are M,W, F from 10:00am to 1:30pm.

3. CMC Scholarship Award includes the opportunity to train in ballet, modern, contemporary, and more with Chicago’s best dance instructors. Award includes 10 classes per week, coaching, and more.
