We’re still dancing

Dear Friends,
As we all struggle with the Covid-19 quarantine, we want you to know that we are still dancing and creating works of art for our supportive community.
As beloved Philadelphia choreographer Andrew Simonet recently said, “This crisis is what dancers train for.” Our skills in navigating the unknown are really needed right now, and so we are sharing our work and our stories and our knowledge of movement, rhythm, and flow with as many people as we can.
We are committed to paying our dancers and staff as they rise to new levels of creativity, and we hope you will consider a gift today to support our efforts to sustain artists and artistry.
Our dance company is also a small business. Our network of small businesses include independent artists and other small businesses that help with lighting, sound, costumes, marketing and music. We are committed to providing support to our dancers and network of artists, who have lost their other employment options.
We know you value dance as art and as healing. And we ask for your support to keep artists creating and feeding our collective need for expression and joy. I hope you will join me in making a gift to this dance company today.
