Absent Moon

Absent Moon premiered in October 2024 at the

Studebaker Theater in downtown Chicago.

Choreographed by Winifred Haun, this dynamic group work for

8 dancers reveals the state of inner disquiet most humans experience. While the world heats up physically, emotionally,

and psychologically, many resort to violence and other unproductive problem solving methods.

The costume design is by Assistant Choreographer Crystal Gurrola, who also performs both the stunning opening solo, and the breathtaking duet with Vernon Gooden.
